PLACEMENT PRIORITY
Much of Moor Time's funding is for Bradford Local Authority young people. We specialise in providing a high level of support for young people with complex medical needs, autism and learning disability/developmental delay. This informs our placement priority criteria:
1) Young people who live within Bradford Local Authority who have two or three of the following: complex medical needs, autism and learning disability/developmental delay
2) Young people who live within Bradford Local Authority who have one of the following: complex medical needs, autism and learning disability/developmental delay
3) Young people who live within a neighbouring local authority (Leeds or North Yorks) who have two or three of the following: complex medical needs, autism and learning disability/developmental delay
3) Young people who live within a neighbouring local authority (Leeds or North Yorks) who have one of the following: complex medical needs, autism and learning disability/developmental delay
4) Young people who live within Bradford Local Authority who have any additional needs, who are on benefit-related Free School Meals or a low income.
Peer group matching is important, so Moor Time reserves the right to deviate from this criteria if necessary to ensure that groups are well matched. Consideration is also be shown to the needs of young people from neighbouring local authorities who have come to depend on a long-standing routine of regularly attending Moor Time, which predates this placement priority list.
