We are a charity dedicated to providing fun and exciting respite activities for young people with additional needs, with a focus on high level needs involving learning disability and significant developmental delays. We have a team of experienced staff so family carers can take a breather.

From our base in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, we run a holiday club in the major school holidays, Saturday care sessions, stay and plays for reception age children and under, and supported volunteering for young adults with additional needs.

Moor Time was formerly LS29 Time, part of the LS29 Special Needs Support Group. We are now an independent charity.

  • Services for young people aged 0-25

  • Specialist sessions for medical and complex needs

  • Supported volunteering for over-17s

  • Accessible venues

  • Come supported by our staff or your regular PA

  • Discounts for families with more than one young person attending, free places for families on low incomes

Take a look round our holiday club, meet some of the staff and volunteers and see what activities we get up to in this introductory video. Thank you to Josh Ainge Studio for giving up their time for free to work on it.

Find out what family carers are telling us about their young people's experience at Moor Time in our Testimonials video.
